Kunstenaar Thierry Boitier

...born in 1960, he lives and works in France.
Human
Man is like an apparition, revealing himself in
works of art. He stares at us, the epitome of con-
stantly changing human nature. The image blends
into the canvas and is not unlike primitive art
where a variety of media echo each other and
bring a whole culture to life. In his pictorial cre-
ations, Boitier stands aside and gives free rein to
matter, which like humans, is eroded and kneaded
by the phenomenon of time. An intense osmosis
between man and matter, a trace, a memory for
the future.
